This live webcam takes you to Barban, a picturesque medieval town and municipality in Istria County, Croatia . As shown on the map below, the camera is located in the town centre, next to St. Nicholas Church, facing south towards Barban Street at the intersection with State Road D66. Barban, in addition to this baroque parish church, which was completed in 1701, has three other historic churches, frescoes, medieval city walls and gates, the citadel, and other cultural and historical landmarks. Every year in August, the town hosts a jousting tournament called Trka Na Prstenac, which is a medieval tradition. The nearby pedestrian, bicycle, and equestrian trails allow you to explore the scenic estuary of the Raša River.
