Welcome to the beautiful seaside of the city of Fujisawa, from this live streaming webcam at Hale Surf school in Kamakura, overlooking the popular sailing spot Enoshima Higashihama beach and the amazing island of Enoshima, in Kanagawa Prefecture , Japan. This island is a major attraction in the city, connected to the mainland through the bridges Enoshimaohashi. Enoshima is the hub of the resort area of Shōnan, on the Sagami Bay, with landmarks including Enoshima Sea Candle, a modernistic lighthouse - an observation tower for spectacular views. This island of around 4km in circumference houses numerous shrines - it is dedicated to Benzaiten, the goddess of entertainment and music. Enoshima Yacht Harbour, built for the 1964 Tokyo Olympic Games, will host the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Sailing Competition, as well as the Sailing World Cup Series 2019, starting this September.
