This Lighthouse (Lanterna) live stream webcam shows a beautiful view of the Trieste waterfront, the capital city of the Friuli Venezia Giulia region , in Italy . The cam feed is at the former Lighthouse “La Lanterna”, showing the city landscapes and a glimpse of the Port of Trieste in the Gulf of Trieste. The port is an international hub both for overland and maritime trade, between shipping lanes and the TEN-T core network corridors of the Baltic Adriatic and the Mediterranean. By the harbour there is the aquarium “Acquario Marino della Città di Trieste” in a magnificent historic building, with displays of Adriatic species.
