This live webcam stream shows the skyline of Milan, Italy's Lombardy region, as seen from Porta Nuova, the city's most modern district. The camera is pointing towards the Avenue of Liberation ( Viale della Liberazione ), the square Piazza Gae Aulenti , and the surrounding buildings, including the UniCredit Tower (Torre UniCredit), which is visible on the left side of the image. The UniCredit Tower, at 231 metres (758 feet), is Italy's tallest skyscraper! To the right of the UniCredit Tower are the city park "BAM Tree Library Milan" and the Bosco Verticale , a foliage-covered residential complex. In the foreground, you can see the shining façade of the Diamond Tower, an office building standing at 140 metres (459 feet). Porta Nuova is known as Milan's futuristic district. It is also an important business district in the city, with impressive skyscrapers, luxury residences and hotels, open gardens, and shopping.
