In the foreground stands the façade of the former Council House built in 1420, where visitors now admire the exhibits of Brașov County Museum of History. The building is an important tourist attraction as it is the square itself, surrounded by 18th and 19th century landmarks. The stream also gives you a glimpse of the large fountain and the Black Church in Gothic style. This magnificent church was named after its colour left by a fire in the 17th century.
